Historic National Road - Jones Trailhead
The Delmar and Betty Jones Trailhead shall serve as the City of Terre Haute's eastern terminus of the National Road Heritage Trail paralleling the Historic National Road across Indiana.
The Jones Trailhead will promote ecological education and interpretation of the native plant ecoregions of the Terre Haute, Indiana, and the six-state Historic National Road corridor with a focus on native plant community restoration.
The Jones Trailhead is dedicated to the memory of Delmar and Betty Jones in gratitude for their generous gift for land acquisition and construction made available through the Wabash Valley Community Foundation.

Final Completion: December, 2009
Construction Cost: $800,000.00
Funding Source: Wabash Valley Community Foundation Transportation Enhancement Funds
