2009 Property Taxes

Most property owners in the City of Terre Haute have now received their property tax statements for 2009. Many have had significant increases. Since the City’s budget was reduced for 2009, property owners may be curious as to WHY their taxes went up.

Mayor Bennett is providing the following information in order to help property owners better understand how the State of Indiana is handling your tax dollars. Included is some historical data, as well as what we can expect in 2010.
