Mayor Duke Bennett will hold the next Neighborhood Summit on
Wednesday, June 16, 2010. The Eastside area, City Council
District 2, will be the focus of this summit. It will be held in
the Torner Community Center at Deming Park from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
All home and business owners, residents, non-profit organizations
and faith-based groups in District 2 are encouraged to
participate. As always, you do not have to live or work in that
area in order to attend the summit; they are open to the public.
As plans come together for additional summits, the Mayor encourages
people to contact his office if they are interested in attending a
summit or need help organizing a neighborhood group.
